REDEMPTION (APOLUTROSIS) PART 1
In the New Testament, the adoption of children unto sonship means placing the born again into sonship where they possess God's inheritance or properties. This is what God has done for us. Our sonship has placed us in a position to possess God and share in everything bestowed on Christ. Everything Jesus is who we are now because we have been placed in a place where we inherit everything God just as Christ does. We have the Spirit of His Son to make us like Him, in terms of Power and Glory etc. This Spirit is what makes us legitimate sons. Hallelujah! We qualify to call God Father because of our position. We have been accepted by God because we are in Jesus who is the Beloved. In the Beloved we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace. Glory! Do you know that in the Old Testament, they knew God as God because they had no relationship with Him as Father? Amazed right? Listen to today's message with the Prophet.
