When the Bible talks about the shield of faith it means “thureos” from the root word “thura” meaning a door. This is a door behind which the soldier hides, completely covered.
Do you know what this means? The shield of faith is a door without which all your armour and all the other weapons a soldier wears is exposed to the enemy.
