The blood of Jesus saves, and it came on legal grounds too. The thing is, on legal grounds, an offering was given. Jesus's blood was offered to satisfy his justice and righteousness. Since His justice and righteousness were satisfied, then the blood had no choice but to protect God's children from all angles. That is why in the burnt offering, the blood of the animal, which is collected by the Priest, is placed at the northern side of the brazen altar. You want to know more? The Burnt offering was offered to atone for the sins of the people so they can have a right standing with God. It wasn’t a worry if the animal was small or big. Whichever size they used, God was ready to accept them and forgive them though it was His desire that everyone used the bullock. Our God is indeed a good God! Be blessed as you listen!

Jesus did not sin, knew no sin, and had no sin in Him, are you aware? So, the question is how did He take our sins then? Our sins were placed on him like a cloth, He was made sin for us. So, in offering the burnt offering the offeror places his hand on the head of the unblemished animal and guess what? The sin of the offeror is transferred to the animal and in return its innocence is transferred to the offeror. Wowww! This is what salvation is all about.

The burnt offering gives off a pleasing aroma to the Lord, and that’s why it's called an offering of Ascension. It's so sweet that it goes to God. Do you know the animals used in these sacrifices were carefully selected? It's actually a special gift unto God. Oh, Jesus is that pleasing aroma that ascends to The Father.
