In Exodus 28, God asked Moses to prepare a Holy garment for Aaron and his sons for glory and for beauty.In the preparation of these, God gave specific instructions of materials to be used which included Gold , Blue , Purple, Red and Linen. In times past, it was only the High Priest who could enter into the Holy of Holies once a year to atone for his sin first, and then the sin of the people. Sounds familiar in our times? We look to the Pastor to ask for forgiveness for us from God, pray for us and even fast for us.But in this new covenant, we were cleansed by the Blood of Jesus, which gave us total forgiveness of the past, present and future sins. His death made the Law of the Spirit of life available to us. This is the Life that makes God who He is. (Jeremiah 31:33) We need Eternal life to enjoy our Spiritual inheritance as children of God.And we have it. Hallelujah!

In the old covenant, it was only the High Priest who could enter into the Holy of Holies once a year to atone for his sin first, and then the sin of the people. Even then, what he uses was the sacrificial blood of animals for the sacrifice but this could only purify their outward sins and not their heart and only for a year. Which means they were not totally cleansed of their sins.In the new covenant, we were cleansed by the Blood of Jesus, which gave us total forgiveness of the past, present and future sins. His death gave us eternal life - made the Law of the Spirit of life available to us. This is the Life that makes God who He is. (Jeremiah 31:33) You need this Eternal life to enjoy your Spiritual inheritance as a child of God. Stay blessed!
