As believers, we should not be ignorant that we are already in a battle because satan and his demons are always throwing arrows at us. How do we win against the enemy, you may ask? We win by putting on the whole armour of God as Ephesians 6 tells us. Even God our Heavenly Father puts on His armour when He goes into battle according to Isaiah 59:17.And as ambassadors of Christ, we haven’t been called to chase after the devil in a fight because he is a defeated foe but often, he comes at us through our thoughts with deceit, schemes, wiles, devices (mind games - noema) and eventually builds up strongholds in our minds.To exercise your victory over the enemy in this regard, you are to put on the complete armour of God and stand.For more knowledge on how to put on this amour, kindly listen to this short audio to win always when satan shows up. Warfare is not the activities of witches and wizards as we are being made to believe. The bible never said we wrestle against witches and wizards but that we wrestle against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)God wears an armour, and He says we should put it on. The Shield of Faith (Word) empowers us to stand against the wiles or fiery darts of the enemy.Major warfare happens in the mind because, the devil actually starts his wiles and schemes in the mind using your thoughts. Most words that proceed from the mouth of people to us require warfare to deal with. Which means we are in battle everyday of our lives.Also, the sad truth is, a lot of people are saved but are not wearing the Helmet of Salvation. Anytime you complain and fret a lot of times, you are not wearing the Helmet of Salvation, and once your head is exposed you are prone to receiving arrows from the devil. Did you ever know everything that God is, the Word is? Jesus is essentially equal with God because He possesses the fullness of the attributes of God! which means that, Who God is, The Word is. What God can do, the Word can do! ( Philippians 2:6-8, John 1:1)When Jesus came into the world, though He was essentially God He was not eager to hold unto that attribute of being God. What He did was, He stripped Himself of all privileges and rightful dignities (Pouring out himself; his Deity, Power, Glory etc known as Kenosis) He did this, so that he can assume the guise of a servant, in that He became a man and was born a human being (Philippians 2:7). Hallelujah!!!!!The mystery of Jesus's entry into the world was to confirm that, a group of people who are like Christ will show up known as Christians (Christ-like) and also it was to tell the world that in some time to come He's going to have other Jesus's! Glorrrrrrrryyyyyyy!
